You may be eligible to apply for this loan based on your own credit if:

You meet the minimum state age requirement
You have an established, positive credit history
You have an acceptable debt-to-income ratio
You have a minimum annual income of $12,000

If you do not meet all of the above criteria, it is likely you will need a cosigner to support your application.

What to expect when you apply online
Your application will take approximately five minutes to complete. You and/or your cosigner will need:

Social Security number
Driver's license number
Current street address
Home telephone number (with area code)
Employment information — employer's name, city, state, phone number, and previous employer's name and length of employment

Residence information — status (own/rent), monthly housing payment
One personal reference — name, and phone number
Requested loan amount

Wells Fargo will not process your application until you click Submit on the final page of the application.
